Honda hybrid are all frumpy looking 4-door hatchbacks. The honda civic coupe, however, looks great. If you want to have a big impact increasing, you have to offer the public what they want and they want more than just frumpy looking little family sedans. The crz, for me, will be just too expensive and too impractical. The insight looked hot, but performed like a riding mower. A hybrid version of the civic coupe will hit the sweet spot of style & performance plus mpg and "greenness”.

Honda hybrid are fascinating cars to drive with their impressive technology but i suspect, if they were priced according to cost like others in the marketplace.
Honda hybrid are alike in that they are small cars designed primarily for city driving, where hybrids are best at delivering fuel economy gains and lower emissions. For now, honda is not pursuing full electric cars or so-called plug-in hybrids. And honda has also not committed to any one supplier for advanced lithium ion batters, in sharp contrast to rivals such as toyota and general motors. The insight's design suggests that honda has learned at least one lesson from toyota: make hybrids look different than anything else in the lineup so that owners have obvious proof for the world that they are driving a "green" car.
Honda hybrid are direct competition though the volt is still unique. Honda then turned to one of its famous compact sedans. The Honda Civic was released in a hybrid version in 2003. The design was pretty much the same with the conventional Honda Civic incorporated with Honda's own hybrid technology.
Honda has stopped producing Civic hybrids to replace them with smaller and affordable types to compete with Toyota. Nonetheless previous the second generation proved to be a worthy competitor to the Prius. Although they may differ in terms of technology, fuel efficiency was still attained.
